As a communist who isn't afraid to say it, we don't like the democrats. They take all the worst parts of capitalism, only halfway support actual progressive ideals, don't even finish that half, and usually they just do the same thing the Republicans are doing but quieter. I'm friends with people even further left than I am, and trust me, "liberal" is a dirty word in our circles. The biggest roadblock to the leftist movement in America is the fact that people think the Democrats are in any way leftists. If the far right is Fascism, the Democrats are appeasement.
